Through long hours on the road and hard work, John sold water treatment equipment to the public through local plumbing contractors and well drilling companies. Six years later, they partnered with a local plumbing supply house, R.F. Fager Company and John expanded their water treatment division through wholesale distribution channels. In 1979, they expanded their partnership by creating and incorporating Aqua Treatment Service. John and Donna purchased all shares of ATS in 1985 and the company became the family owned, faith based business that it is today.
Over 40 years later, ATS continues to provide innovative ideas, to serve their customers with high quality water treatment equipment. Offering one-of-a-kind multi-barrier/4 log reduction units, stainless steel mineral tanks and a complete line of residential and commercial ultraviolet sterilizers, Aqua Treatment Service is an east coast leader in the field of water treatment.
ATS manufacturers and distributes a wide range of products, including water softeners, filters, feed pumps, UV disinfection systems, drinking water systems, parts, components. All units are manufactured with high quality components to give our customers a lifetime of clean water.
Founder, John Filson, has seen his company grow from its modest beginnings into a multi-faceted production, distribution and manufacturing company. Today, the Filson family still runs the company with a dedicated staff of department heads, which average over 25 years of experience in their respective areas of expertise. They in turn, lead a team of employees dedicated to providing superior products and customer service.
Our manufacturing plant has a highly qualified and dedicated staff, who are committed to providing superior parts and products. Our facility has a state-of-the-art Mazak OPTIPLEX laser used on a broad range of precision cut parts. We have a complete powder coating booth and oven for precise coating projects. Our machine shop is equipped with CNC lathes, a hydroform press, press brake and a punch press. Our welding and fabrication departments are staffed with top notched, certified welders. We have CAD capability using Solid Works software and have recently added a 3-D printer to our toolbox!
Our commitment to continually seek better manufacturing methods will lead us to adding robotics and CNC Milling centers in the near future.
When you need technical assistance, either in the field or on the phone, an ATS customer service representative is available to meet your needs. Currently we are working on installing a start of the art testing facility that can test up to 500 gallons per minute. This facility will also provide an area for training, which will allow us to ensure that our products are always installed, maintained, serviced and exceeds the expectations of our valued customers.
